Yes folks, the festive time of year is fast approaching and as is the custom here at the Rowena Parade Corner Store, we will be going on holidays!
We will be closing at
3pm on Thursday the 23rd of December 2010
and will be open again on
Wednesday the 12th of January 2011.
Yes, that’s right, three weeks holiday!

We are proud to be supporting the Movember cause here at Rowena Parade Corner Store throughout the month of November. We have customers coming in every day and we are seeing the impressive face donations of moustache’s accross Richmond. Well done so far and keep it up! We have a donations box on our counter that is getting heavier and heavier! All proceeds go to the Movember foundation to support depression in men through Beyond Blue and The Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia. The mo crew are in and out with coffee in hand and we wish them all the best in their efforts to raise funds and awareness for mens health in Australia. A gentleman is, after all, still a man, no matter how gentle he is.
Special today, probably gone tomorrow. Prawn and avocado salad with rocket, fresh tomato and scattered sesame seeds with a lemon dressing. Just tried it for my lunch and it was positively delightful, licking my lips to savour the flavour.

Fresh today!! Fettucini tossed with prosciutto, tomato, avocado, spring onion and fetta drizzled with olive oil. Just had it for lunch and was fresh and fantastic.
