Here we go!!! Exciting things are happening at Rowena Parade Corner Store. Con, Nick and Jaye have been on the hunt for a new Single Origin bean to start grinding fresh to order for our black coffee’s. We’ve been trying it out on some of our regular enthusiasts recently and by popular demand we’ve decided to get it in full time!
Kenya Dorman Peaberry – Single Origin

We find this Kenyan an outstanding single origin experience. It exhibits a spectrum of fruit flavours more noted toward blackcurrant. Highly aromatic and bright we find its full body enhances its fruit to a cassis like flavour.
Typically around 5% of all coffee beans harvested are peaberry’s. Normally the fruit develops as two halves of a bean within a single cherry, but sometimes only one of the two seeds becomes fertilised. The result is an intensely developed bean.
Served as ristretto.
